What is your favorite fruit or vegetable to dehydrate? Looking for ideas. Do far I've only done apples and bananas.

Strawberries, pineapple and plums.  Although the plums can become quite tart.  The strawberries and pineapple are like eating candy when dried.  Mushrooms dehydrate very well.  We dry most of the Birch Boletes we get in the fall.  If you dry onions or garlic, I would suggest doing it outside.  They put off quite the odor that seems to penetrate through the entire house.  Haven't tried many other veggies.
Look man, some times you just gotta roll the dice

Peaches, apples, and apricots are my favorite fruits, cucumber chips for veggies.  I like to sprinkle a little cinnamon or nutmeg on the fruit, salt and pepper on the cucumber...

When you do your pineapple is it fresh or canned? does it make a difference?

Some animals WERE harmed in the making of this Hunter. They were also dragged through the dirt, butchered and tasted delicious fried with butter and bacon.

Make applesauce and then fruit leather. Yum, and great in packs!
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming, "WOO HOO! WHAT A RIDE!!"

I do all kinds of veggies, corn, peas, carrots, broccoli, beans, for all my back country hiking , I do spaghetti sauce on wax paper a gallon of sauce reduces into a small baggie, I cook up a bunch of elk meat in the crock pot and dehydrate it for adding to noodles, its better to dehydrate home made stuff like  chili, than to use caned stuff because home made is better and not as much salt in it, I package up complete  meals in food saver bags, compacts everything nice and stores easily, winters a good time of year to get the meals all done up for later in the year.

Mango, Pineapple, Watermelon, Cantaloupe and Kiwi are all great. I did some Strawberries, but sliced them to thin and they turned out like Corn Flakes.
