Eric down at napa just told me this also.  Bummer.  If it wouldn't have been a car it would have been a wolf.
Probably a pack of wolves chasing it :bash: I'm getting real sick and tired of these darn wolves!! I would always see a bunch of animals along the highway but not any more with these wolves!

The car looks like it hit a deer actually I have seen deer do worse damage.

Those moose won't last long. Wolves love elk more than deer but absolutely crave moose.  Yellowstone can not confirm for sure if they have a single moose left.  Say goodbye to the Teanaway moose.

only had it once but it was the most tender, sweet tasting steak iv'e ever had.
i dont think i would use moose for jerkey.
hate to see this one downed by a vehicle.

Moose IMO is the best meat there is. My Canada moose, granted it was a younger bull... even the neck meat was tender.  :cue:  I drool in my sleep over finding a way to another moose hunt  :chuckle:
