Kahr P380

Just picked up Kahr P380 for times when our larger conceal carry weapons won't work (I think my wife is going to confiscate it for her own use) Sweet little gun.

The Kahr's aren't cheap..this one cost us 525.

Wow I thought it would have been 300 to 350. For that price it is probably a pretty good gun though.

They are well built...fit/finish...and seem to be accurate for such a little gun.The Kahr's are tight and often require a break in... this sometimes put people off who are used to weapons that have looser tolerances and will feed anything you put through them with no break in and regardless of how dirty they are. The break in also irritates people because the gun already costs so much.

They are American made so that is a bonus. We put our tried out a number of the other small 380's but we really like the quality of these Kahr's.

I have the Kahr P9 which I haven't shot a lot but it seems decent.

I liked the kahr. I ended up buying a ruger lcp. Like the size but hate the trigger pull. My big fingers don't work it well. Hope you have better luck with your kahr.

I like the size of the P380. The trigger and reset is long but very smooth. I put 125 rounds through it today. The things I don't like is that it shoots low with the sights that are installed (more accurate just point shooting) and I have had a number of malfunctions (I expected this but hopefully it stops after the break in).

We also shot our M&P Shields today and they shot accurately and flawlessly as usual.

Congratulations on getting a great gun.  A Kahr PM9 has been my warmer weather daily carry gun for about 8 years.  I shoot it regularly and it runs flawlessly. 

I don't always like to wear an IWB holster or a pocket holster, and one of the things I really like about the little Kahrs is they conceal very well in a high riding OWB holster with just shorts and a t-shirt.

I usually keep mine in a pocket holster, unless I am wearing jeans.

Out of 125 rounds I had two stove pipes, two failure to fires and six premature slide locks (wasn't my hand hitting the slide lock either)
