Underwood Ammo?
« on: February 10, 2013, 07:33:31 PM »
Anyone use underwood ammo out there? I heard a few good things so I ordered 2 box's of 10mm 180gr xtp from them. Wanted to buy more because I am already paying shipping but wanted to see how it shot. Reported ballistics seem good though.

Any opinions are appreciated.

Thanks,
H&F

IMO its some of the best full power 10mm stuff out there. I use the 135g,165g and 200g stuff they offer in the G20SF...It's good stuff

He's just marking the thread so he can view it later.

I wanted to order 2 boxes of 200gr as well but they were sold out!!

How would you compare the 135 and 165gr to the 200gr, as far as accuracy and handling? And are you using the 135 and 165gr. For 2 legged protection?

Thanks,
H&F

How I compare?..Well the 200g stuff makes the 10mm a true hunting round forsure and a good round to carry afield.

The 165g I feel are a good multipurpose round.

The 135g...FAST!

I use the 135g for "2 legged protection"...indoors or out, I want to keep the pass through shots to ZERO if I can with lots of expansion and energy transfer.

There were some youtube viedos of this ammo being tested...give that a check or google might find you a little more insight....good luck!
