NO!  Not even in a live trap.  We have flattened them on coon skulls at point blank.  Of course, stick one through a lung, it will probably die, but I would not guess quickly or humanely.   :twocents:

When I read that link, I think it's saying that I can hunt coyotes with any caliber I want to, but if I'm using a 240 or larger caliber, and a deer or elk season is open, I have to have a tag in my possession.

Yep...just another stupid law that the Game drones came up with. Like you can't kill/poach a deer or an elk with a 22-250 or 223..... Those people are regular geniuses I tell ya

I stood next to a Game Officer in Raymond, Wa. one evening and watched him shoot a deer that had just been shot but was not dead yet, he shot it 9 times in the head with a .22LR pump action rifle while he stood over it waiting for it to die. I offered up my 12 gauge but he refused to use it  :dunno: I saw this doe rolling down a hill next to the highway, as I pulled up to the vehicle that was stopped they got in and left in a hurry, it was after dark, my suspicion was they were spotlighting, so I called 911. Gamie showed up within about 20 minutes, I told him what I saw then he euthanized the deer, however, one 00 buck would have done the deed more efficiently.  :twocents:
Checkin' wind and makin' smoke.
That's how I roll...

Is there a round capacity restriction? I was going to try hunting yotes with my AR but not sure if I can only have five rounds in the mag or all thirty rounds of rock and roll

You can use a one-thousand round magazine, if you can get one that big. Deer, elk, bear, coyote, doesn't matter. There are no restrictions on magazine capacity.
