Heading to Ellensburg
« on: February 24, 2013, 07:57:03 PM »
Well me and a buddy are heading up to Ellensburg to visit friends at Central and do some coyote hunting. We have one farm that we have permission to hunt on, but I have a feeling it may fall through. Im curious if anyone is willing to give some insight to public land close by to try? I know people hate giving away their areas, but its for coyotes and as many as we can kill the better! I would appreciate the info. Also, If you give us some advice, and we kill a dog, we will be sure to think you in our next video! Thanks in advance friends!

The public land gets hit pretty hard! The Wenas wildlife area has dogs. Lots of pressure.

I'd probably try up the North Fork Teanaway Road. Lots of public land, and private timberland thats open to the public. You might walk a couple miles off the main road and get into some country that doesn't get pressured. Watch out for the pack of wolves though.

you'd be better off to stick in town ;). the pack of wolves surrounding the ellensburg area hate out of towners.  I would go north of e-burg for coyotes or head up into the national forest somewhere.
