Another happy sitka customer
« on: March 07, 2013, 11:45:21 AM »
Thanks for the heads up jbeaumont, after reading your post I gave sitka a call and now i've got a new set of camo on the way! I had the same issues with my downpour gear...splits in the seams, splitting membrane. After calling the rep he explained the same thing- that the forest gear is meant for tree stand hunting, not beating the bursh with... so he promptly offered to upgrade me to the clouburst open country for free. They couldn't have been any better to work with, sent me an RA number immediately and paid for my shipping and everything. It's that kind of service that makes it worth paying that much for camo.

I've had the same experiences with them.  Maybe that's why I am a return customer every year. ;)

I have never had to use the warranty - that is why I am a return customer every year.  ;)

Now that is exactly why this website is so great.  Awesome to hear Stizz!  Glad they worked it all out for you.

Sitka has great customer service, now they just need to hire a new marketing team to do a better job with the forest green camo and save their investors some money.
