Generally if not always, a high security clearance will cause a delay, I have even sold several guns to police and state patrol empoyees who get delayed........ boy do they get pissed sometimes.

:yeah: I've seen people that have a high Security Clearance get delayed, but I think she said the Federal check went through, but the County denied her.  In that case her problem is with the county....
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"

I still think it is Smossy's fault. :sry: :IBCOOL: :dunno:
How does that even make sense? lol If we were married I could see there being a potential problem, sure. If if that was the case, There are still LEGAL ways that she can go about and have a secured firearm, as long as I had no access, I.e. fingerprint safes and or It wasn't in MY household..
Why in my right mind, would I want to go back to prison for even touching a firearm? I refuse to even hold them in store's when gentlemen over the counter try to hand them to me because they think I'm the decision maker for my woman. Shes a big girl. She can do and make her own decisions. I have nothing to do with it. Like many people have stated. It could be just a simple mistake.
Im out to better myself, Not make a fool of myself like 75% of other people with a background like mine, Thanks for trying to kick a guy while hes down though.

How many questions did you answer "Yes" to?   :chuckle:

Only one hopefully!

:yeah: lol I think just the one where it asks you if everything is truthful.. It was my very first time doing any of it, I'm going to call tomorrow and see where that takes me. I think it's either the security clearance - which was about 5 years ago - or I'm thinking it could even be my last name if they're really that critical. I have a unique last name that sometimes is split into two words/sometimes one.

Cabela's guy said it was denied by Pierce County, I don't understand the federal level/county level.

Good luck smossys-girl. I hope the firearm wasnt too unique, and you can purchase one like it in a few days when this gets worked out with the county.

Nobody touched on this yet. When I first got my first handgun I was denied. At kitsap county level. Turned out when I left one night and the crazy ex got pissed she called 911 and said I hit her. The cops were there when I returned and took me in on DV.

Coarse it never happened so we went to court and she admitted lying. Problem was kitsap never changed my file to dismissed completely. They fixed it and I had my gun.

Ever had a dismissed DV, assault, DUI ect?

Im not sure myself. So my reply was genuine. I don't see why my background would have anything to do with it. I seen the other persons "lowrange" or whatever's post only because it was quoted by someone else. Which that was very inappropriate.
Sounds like some people expect others that have done wrong in they're life to continue down that path like its some written rule..I should just go out robbing stores and committing murders, and doing lots of drugs or something? wth. Nope, sorry Im not your minority. But that makes me a "piece of poo? lol I actually learned from my time and plan on changing my life for the better.   :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:
