.17 hmr: you can find it on sale all day long for $10/box of 50. Full price is $13-$18/box of 50 depending on make. I have seen no shortage of .17 hmr.
Just talking to a buddy who is having trouble finding ammo. What do you think a good price for ammo is under todays conditions?9mm auto.2238 special.380 auto41045 long colt
I'd say don't buy anything and just wait. These morons are only making the killing they are because people are throwing money at them. ...
Fair enough. The people paying the prices aren't necessarily morons. They could just be in a bad spot, but the people buying up all available stock and scalping people will get no compliments from me.
How could you be "in a bad spot" without that 1000+ rounds of .22lr RIGHT NOW vs a month or two down the road

People with some sort of surplus can wait out the market a bit, and buy at more sane prices, instead of giving in to obscene pricing. The prices will not go down as long as people are willing, or in some cases, forced to pay them. I choose not to pay the current prices.
