I will purchase my multi deer tag!
« on: April 20, 2013, 06:56:01 PM »
I feel like purchasing my multi tag this year so that I can put in for some special hunt permits that I would normally not put in for! To start I archery hunt for both deer and elk and spend most of my time in the early season for elk so deer is usually put off until the end of the month or late season. I have 1 buck on cam that I would like to go after this year but really want meat in the freezer as well. So I plan on putting in for a second deer tag and it will be for a rifle hunt (with my bow in hand), since most of the archery second deer tags are island tags and you know how tough it is to get access for average Joe. But, there are a lot of second deer tag opportunities in some great areas that I would like to hunt for as my second deer this year! I think I have a good chance to get drawn for a second deer tag and I will spend the money to have an extra deer in the freezer and additional time to hunt. If I don't get drawn I'll wait till the last minute to shoot the deer that I want or until I'm satisfy with my choice. Every thing for me is the luck of the draw and I'll put it to the test this year and hope to get drawn for that second deer tag to fill the freezer! I know it's a lot of money for the multi season tag and it will cost extra for the second tag, but that is what I enjoy doing (hunting that is) so I will pay to play! Good luck this season!!

That I do, have a plan that is.......I figure why waste a permit if  all I want to do is hunt this year and put meat in the freezer! I guess if I want to pay to play I better come up with a game plan.
