Last summer I made Pina cohladas (spelling?) for a bbq.  There was a lot of Malibu rum leftover so I mixed it with coke.  Since then Malibu and coke is all I have been drinking.  I feel like such a girl.

COLD pyramid outburst IPA. good and hoppy. Normally a one beer a day guy, but here lately I've developed a powerful lust for the hops.

Fireball!!! Oh man run, you didn't say anything!!! We could've swung into town for a few fireballs!!! I've just started trying iron horse and its good. I've been a blue moon an for a while or Dos XX amber but iron horse is definitely climbing the ladder. or a Cadillac Margarita served in a bowl sized glass cup

Well ummm so when we going hunting again  :chuckle: cuz who knew I could have a hunting partner that drinks margaritas hot dang.  I like ironhorse IPA I kinda like bitter and sour things I am not very sweet.

Anyone a Guinness fan?  If you are, stop by Jack and Dan's near the G.U. campus next time you're in Spokane.  It's a great place to enjoy a cold beer.

Crispie cokes, my baby cousin drinks that from a sippy cup J/K I know a few guys that add a little captain morgan to that concoction and love it

weathergirl makes a basil syrup that is awesome with some rum and lime.

Is she willing to share her recipie?

Rum is my Achilles heal.

Al

Basil syrup:  One large bunch of basil (coarsely chopped), one cup sugar, 3/4 cup water, combine all microwave 3-4 minutes until sugar dissolves, let steep 30 minutes, then strain.  For drink: combine 3 T gin or rum, 4 T syrup, 2 T lime juice and ice.  I use a little less lime and some 7-up with the rum since I don't like gin.

Smokey Valley Moonshine by Cowlitz River Disillery has been my latest favorite.  It is distilled down in Toledo using local corn.  Real clean, just the right burn and no nasty aftertaste like many of the commercial shines. I have some wild huckleberries soaking in some right now.  Should be tasty!

I'm a pretty simple guy.  I'll try a pint of just about anything, especially if it's free.

I'm not the one surfing drink recipes and asking, "can you make this, can you make that...oooh but what about that one is it too sweet?...can you do this one here minus the pineapple with double the Patron and no vodka?"  Amateurs
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

I don't drink much, but usually I just like a couple of nice craft beers.
