shot of Vodka, Shot of Southern Comfort Fill glass with orange juice, float 1/2 shot galliano on top creates a slow comfortable screw up against the wall.

Forgot the gin for the true drink

If you don't like the fruity drinks make one for you special lady.  Lemon drop martinis are the best.  One part vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup and 1-2 parts triplesec.  Shake with ice and sit in the sun overlooking your yard, flowerbeds, or garden and enjoy a job well done!

You could make one for each of you and cuddle up with some Twilight. Go team Edward!!

Vodka+OJ=Screwdriver

Or if that is still too sweet for you, substitute grapefruit juice instead of OJ, still tasty just not as sweet.

I've been a straight vodka drinker or martinis most of my life. HOWEVER, I've gotten into the habit of buying large bottle of pomegranate juice at COSTCO and drink it with vodka and it doesn't suck at all. Add some lime and a stripper and you're gonna love it.

Vodka Martini...stirred not shaken...
I never shake them I usually stir them.  I don't have the fancy shaker and I'm not a purist.  I just though that was the "right" way to do it.

White Russian: Kahlua, vodka, cream
that's a popular woman 's drink  :chuckle:

I drank many liters of vodka when I worked in Russia. I mean many . :chuckle:
Anyway this is the proper way taught to me by a Russian Colonel and professional vodka enthusiast:
throw the bottle in the freezer . get a piece of dark pumpernickel rye bread. Cut pieces of bread. get a jar of pickles.
Once Ice cold pour into a shot glass (100 grams) drink the shot, smell the The piece of dark bread and eat the pickle.
Have a bottle of good Borzhoi Georgian mineral water nearby to sip and rehydrate.

repeat as needed

Screw driver.  Vodka and OJ.  Or a vodka cranberry.  Both good options.
Cut em!
