Was out surf fishing in the beginning and had a nice 6+ inch dungy walk right up to me in about 3 foot of water, Lightly placed my foot on it and called my lady out to come grab it. Was a nice little addition to the limit of razor clams, on her way back I snagged another one somehow and got it about 5 feet from me, got crashed by a wave as I went after him and he vanished quick little buggers. No perch for me though. Just dont got the technique down I guess.Uh... Dungy in April??He is on the coast. Open year around, look it up

April is usaully the last dig of the seasom. Warm weather brings the toxins too high to harvest. Make sure ya save a few for mid summer when you need a fix.
