my self and a buddy spent the $250 ea and and got 2 merril&ring physt tree farm aces permits. has any buddy gotten one before?we live in callam co but nevered hunted the tree farm or been on it, buy the the way thay sell 150 and there is 15 left as of friday cash otr check only and thay only give out 3 elk permits on a draw 1 in 50 chance.ill be hunting deer and beer there to
Grill it, fry it, smoke it or just eat it raw

For elk I think you're entered into a random draw now. U may or may not get an elk permit. If u draw it, its a good hunt. There are some toads in there for sure. If you cut firewood its worth your costs but other than that your gambling on getting an elk permit from the tree farm folks. good luck!

It's a super fun elk hunt if you can draw! Good luck to all of you. There weren't many deer in there when I was, but it's been a while. Maybe it's improved. We did see a huge bear while scouting though.

Well heck just found out i didnt draw and same for my dad so guess we are going to have to work for the elk this year. If anyone draws on here PM me and ill set you in the right direction and i would not shoot a bull smaller than 300 in there if i had the tag so set your standards high!
