Here are a couple fish my dad and I caught in eastern Washington earlier this year on the fly rods. The first one is my dads 28" pig and the other one is mine that was 25"

Nice job on the fly! Its very addicting and once your into fly tying there's nothing better than catching a fish on a fly you tied!
and keep up the good work!

DD- Fly fishing is a curse and it will take over your life if you let it, and it will be awesome! In all seriousness, as you get more comfortable with the setup and the casting, and you will, you will find yourself wanting to do it more and more and eventually your spinning rod will be left in the rack collecting dust. God forbid you start tying flies, because there really isn't anything much better than catching fish on your own creation.
Here are a few of my favorites that keep my fly rods strung up on the rack...

Catching trout in small rivers, streams, and ponds is my favorite type of fly fishing. Not big fish but a whole lot prettier than those big ugly chums some people catch.......
