well ok! if we are getting back to turk hunting, i have to ask if you have tried doing a fake turk fight. if you have one hung up it could be the ticket.

I love to hunt later in the season ..Why ? It is a lot tougher now because the birds have been hunted hard and now it takes more patients and woodsmenship to feel the tags ...Early in the season you have a lot more 1 & 2 year olds which are generally easier to kill ....seems I have been killing the bigger mature birds later in the season....I have not went on opening weekend in about five years now which is tough to do but less people to deal with and that's my main reason ..Last year I took my buddy over on the last week and we had a ball ....just have to find the right birds that want to play the game ....I would say mid day is the way to go right now ...just sleep in and wait until about 11am and hunt hard all day long !! :tup: I am wanting to get back over again for the last week if I can ...

I never saw any pictures of your pet turkey's you were going over to kill on your property Billdo. How did the hunt go?

Never went because my parents were over there on their aniversary  >:( And i dont want to know what they were doing lol. And they left the whole house to me :tup:
