Well I am finally back home after a long week in the high country. This was a first time experience for me packing in like this. My father in law has been doing it for 30+ years. We had a great time. Rough year for killing deer but still had a great time. Played lots of cards and was able to actually relax for a week. We saw a few small bucks and I blew it on one really nice buck. I ended up finding 8 sheds, packed 4 of them out. Saw some real nice bulls, they were pretty worn out from the rut I think. They just hung out in the timber and never really spooked. Steep steep country. Next time I will be in better shape. Here are a few pictures from the trip. Sorry no buck down.
