If you guys catch CHROME chum whack em and smoke em. I'm not kidding it will be the best smoked salmon you've ever had. I'm gonna kill a bunch of scumpies this year because I'm gonna do a lot of playing with different homemade cures. Ill probably snake and can the first batch to see how they turn out, if not good they'll go to people at work.

Smossy and Sgirl, I'll get you two out to catch all the pinks you want, we will even try for summer kings off Possession. In fact I'll take anyone out for pinks that want's to go. I have all the gear and I only ask for a gas donation. Just shoot me a PM and when they show up in the Everett area, I'll start contacting those interested.

I did pickle some pinks one year. That made it easier to give away

There may be a few around during the Crab Outing. If so and they open it up then we will try to get a few. Otherwise plan on coming up in August.

I won't ever fish for pinks in the rivers... Even though my dad has a house right on the Puyallup river... Brings out all the absolute nimrods with their 8 foot leaders and corkies.

I can only handle hearing " it's in the mouth" so many time per minute.

At least they were using corkies, I saw a guy out there fishing with a 2 or 3 ounce swimbait on the Nisqually a couple years ago.  He didn't know any better though what to use to fish for salmon, my dad and I showed him and his teen kids what to use and all that.

Wow, must have been trying to catch a biggun.... We are going to the Nush this week and will give the small 3" swim baits a try in between the slow times. Probably try them below a float for a bit for the fun of it.

I am confused maybe some of you guys can answer a question is marine area 12 open by the hoodsport hatchery for pinks, or do you have to release them.  The regs are a little confusing on that area any help would be appreciated.  Nevermind I found my answer.

Great offer, But I have no idea how to fish for salmon from a boat.

Put a bait on a down rigger, pick a depth, troll slowly, crack open a cold one, wait until the fish strikes. :chuckle:

Isnt drinking beer on a boat illegal? Just like drinking beer in a car? :dunno:

As long as the operator is below 0.08 BAC, you're good.  You can have a beer underway.
