Cape Flattery bottomfish
« on: June 17, 2013, 07:09:27 PM »
A few of my friends were out near Cape Flattery slamming the rocks with jigs and rubber over the weekend. We brought some fish in for the haul back to the beach where I flipped and barrel rolled in for a good time. Plenty went back. So much for cabezon being threatended. I caught at least 5 in three hours. Here's a sampling of our trip in photos. Tight lines folks

Awesome fishing post.  I've never caught a cabezon, but I heard they are great eating.  Sure is some nice scenery out there!

Tatoosh and south is my hunting grounds for bottom dwellers. Cabbies are excellent table fare. Kayaks huh? You must be launching from Hobuck? Head south a bit to the large pillars, back out to 80' of water. Thats one of the best ling spots out there. Inside the big rocks is a sheltered bay, sea bass til your arms are tired.
