Any Dayton bull tags?
« on: June 21, 2013, 03:29:04 PM »
Just wondering if anyone on here drew a Dayton bull tag? Archery, ML or Rifle?  I saw they dropped the tags back again and was seeing if a huntwa guy or gal were one of the lucky ones?

The only advice I can give, after 4 tags, ge ready to get your hunt on, and stay away from the low ground, hunt high, the bulls are there. Go a few days early, spot em, be ready opening mornin!!

Ok well I don't have an issue talking about anything I have done on a public forum, especially about me killing a "dink" bull, but I wont talk specifics with someone I don't know and someone that hides behind a keyboard and wont come out with who they are

I posted them already. Do a search and look for yourself.  As a matter of fact if you look at the top of this page on the 2012 bulls thread, it is there for the taking.  I am that last guy that would be ashamed to post a "dink" bull so whats your point.  Ive posted them, how about you come out with who the hell you are.  PM me if you want, whats the point of me not knowing who you are?

Shrek, 4 tags is an impressive number for that unit.  What kind of bulls did you kill with those tags.

MuleDeerCrazy, Congratulations on the tag you have any goals in mind for this tag yet?

I can hold out for a good bull, but glassing big bulls across the canyon and hopping over to kill one are two different things!  I am familiar with tag soup, the wife had a bull tag a few years back and we chased a monster all week, but couldn't get her done... always in just the wrong spot at just the wrong time.  I'd like to shoot a 350"+ bull and will give it a solid effort, but understand that even with the best tag in the state a guy needs a little luck!

Good luck to everybody and we'll see what happens!

Better be ready to scout it's a huge GMU and about none of it is flat.

That's what I've heard, already started working out to get into better shape.
Were not from flat land, so were used to steep country, so I know I need to get my legs and lungs ready.
Thanks for the advise.
