Introduction
« on: June 24, 2013, 01:18:02 PM »
Hello. I would just like to introduce myself. I have enjoyed reading everyone comments for about a year now and looking at all of the hunting pictures, etc. I finally decided that I should introduce myself. I am a lifelong big game hunter and I can't think of anything else that I would rather do. I mainly have had success shooting bears and mule deer, but over the last few years have been concentrating on shooting a big whitetail buck. I would like to say that I have had success hunting elk, but having only been drawn for the first time this year for big bulls, my success has been limited to seeing many big bulls, and shooting spikes and cows. I hunt with either a recurve bow, a muzzleloader, 44 ruger blackhawk or 45-70 Marlin. I am kind of old school that way. Each year I take look at the overall odds and decide on a weapon to use. I have had many ups and downs in my hunting career but I seem to keep coming back to the sport that I love. I have a wife that supports my habit and 4 kids that have a passion for the outdoors too. Anyways, I could talk about hunting all day...thanks for having me.

Yeah...I do like the big bore stuff and recurve the best, but the truth is...I like it all!

Welcome.  Sounds like you enjoy the flexibility of the hunt.

Welcome aboard!  Looking forward to some of your adventures being shared.
