I too have a friend with multiple big bulls, 10 over 390", most of those over 400", spends gobs of money every year trying to get the one trophy that has eluded him, a 200" mule deer.

Antlerking posted his opinion on numbers seen before actually seeing a 180" or bigger buck and I agree for the most part, but IMO even those numbers are optimistic.

Doublelung had a great post on this subject a couple years ago, wish I could find it.

Even at 178 its a huge ISH.  :chuckle:

And If I got any more Liberal with the tape I would have to join an anti gun group and apply for more government handouts.  :chuckle:

I just went from 6 to midnight! Love big bucks!! But for some reason I'm thinking big bulls right now!!!!!!!!!
Big bulls are a dime a dozen, a real 180" buck is tough to come by.
Yeah I agree!!!!!!!!! But another member has me thinking bulls right now! (thankfully I wont be the one losing sleep for the next 3.5 months)

I still can't believe you let that buck walk JJ. If I remember right you were looking for a 180" typical that year but DAMN that buck was a stud!
