first pasayten encounter ever
« on: June 30, 2013, 06:40:08 PM »
well this weekend I went on a scouting trip in the pasayten wilderness .. not by my supprise it was nothing less than beautiful amazing country ! god spent a little extra time when he was working on the pasayten  :chuckle: anyways did few hikes and scouted around for the high buck season and came across a buck a little out of my usuall league . mind you this was my first encounter with the pasayten. my first two bucks 2011-2012 were 15' and 16' always catch myself on the 'backcountry ' thread drooling over peoples deer so I decided to get out and take a look myself . anways I wanted to share the buck I found and ask just how big you thing he will be come September ?? also added a cool pic for fun but thaughts on the buck ??? sorry for blurry pics 900 yards away :P

Nice photos, the Pasayten is a gem for sure.  I'd like to spend about two weeks backpacking it.

Darned work >:(
