Now that the north thing is figured out can we define what constitutes a slope?
Hypothetical question, lets say you live in Hood River, OR and you are going to head South to Government Camp on Mt Hood. Would you tell someone that you are heading "down" to Government Camp since you are going South or would you tell them that you are headed "up" to Government Camp since you are traveling uphill? Which takes precedence when telling someone where you are headed, direction or elevation? I have had arguments with family members over this discussion.
