PUYALLUP RIVER EMERGENCY RULE RELEASED

I know alot of folks are awaiting this. (for those that enjoy this fishery)

An official News Release "Emergency Rule" will be announced today.

The jist of it will be this:

Puyallup River opens above Freeman Road opening for fishing Aug. 1,
and below Freeman Road opening Aug. 16.
The river will be closed Aug. 11 when a tribal chinook fishery is scheduled.

In September there will be added closures when the tribes will be fishing two to three days per week for a total of 14 days the river be off limits to sport anglers.

WATCH THOSE DATES WHEN THE RIVER IS CLOSED. BE COURTEOUS TO EVERYONE.

The Lower Puyallup will also have closures in early October, but the upper river will have no closures.
