After talking with Ross last night it sounds like he has a bull spotted that I will have trouble topping.  You may want to see what info he has

Hancock is what the private timber co is called, it's in the mashel unit. Their number is 360-879-5312. I would also consider the white river unit, that's where I would be if I couldn't get access to Hancock. I will tell you about the white river, just pm me with your number.

:yeah: White River can have some brusiers up high during the rut.   :twocents:

Damn forest service is keeping the gate closed at corral pass, guess the don't have the money to suck out the crapper up there! What a load of bs. That takes one nice area out of the picture or at the least will make it a lot tougher of a hunt. At least it's not the best area!

I left an email but here are some phone numbers for the Mt. Baker-Snoqulamie Na forest, just incase you want to give them your opinon also. 425-783-6000 or 800-627-0062, I just wonder if they have gotten any flac over not opening the gate, no reason for them to keep it shut.

Congrats!
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

I swung by the Enumclaw office a few weeks ago to ask about the Corral Pass gate...they said it was strictly due to funding so ya better have a dirt bike to get up there.
I was gonna head up to the Noble knob area and veture off trail a bit to scout for bear but my plans had to change. Anyone ever seen that country around Noble Knob with respect to bear hunting?
Take up your bow, a quiver full of arrows, head out to the country and hunt some wild game.  GEN 27:3

i don't believe it would be legal to ride a dirt bike or quad behind the locked gate, it is a forest service road? They said they don't have the personnel to suck out the chitter, so why not just Lock the damn thing! They said they have been getting a lot of flack from people because of not opening it, they should get a lot more!!

I am pretty sure if you were seen in there with a motorized bike that would result in a ticket. I would call and ask first. I have been wrong before though

I've been talking with a guy that has a tag and he stopped by and ask them that question, they said NO.

Roger that. I am that guy. The guy on the phone said he didn't think it would be a problem.
When I asked what would happen if I was stopped by an officer, he asked the ranger in the office. I was quickly told no motorized vehicals behind the gate except snowmobiles  when the road is covered.      RATS!!!! :bash:
