Still doing all I can to keep these infernal contraptions out of my local NF.   ;)   Thankfully our new Secretary of the Interior will not be expanding opportunities for further resource degradation by the gross misuse of orv's.

Hi there washelkhunter, long time no hear from.

I got one for you. Today it was at the post office and we were talking about guns and ammo. Well, ORV/ATV's came up with the guy I was talking to. He lives right on the border of the Colville Nat Forest and private land. This is directly from his mouth, quote " those damn COASTIES that own property near me are always tearing up the roads, racing their motorcycles and ATVs up and down the FOREST SERVIVE roads and destroying everything around here ". end quote. He told me he even called the Sheriff on them and reported it. I said, GOOD. But you're calling the wrong people, call the Colville Nat Forest in Republic and tell the Forest Service cop come up there and get them.

See, I'm on your side too, kinda. NIMBY.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

No, but had some doozie rain/thunder/lightening storms up here the past couple weeks. I don't know about your place though. I went by there the other day and I see for sale signs up.........WTH ?

The blow downs on state land is all cleaned up from what I saw.

Ya that silly old man thinks he can turn a 15k profit, plus he blew all his money.  I know, WTH.  53 acres with cabin for 90k.  Little pricey if ya ask me.  You should put a game camera up in that grizz spot sometime.  Hes been there in Sept. the last three years for some reason.  If ya draw a moose tag I have a spot for ya as well.

Is it done from last year ? Seems like the housing is kinda picking up around here. They have miners and Border Patrol coming and going and always looking for a place to live. If it has power etc..... That canyon is a little to steep for me. They've been seeing the same colored wolf on the west side of the mountain by your place. How long are you gonna be up here ?

Power is a mileaway.  Its not done.  We roofed it and started building front porch lil dirt work but that's it.  Ya is steep as heck.  I hiked down and up other side.  Not easy.  There is a nice horse trail to use though.  Prints on it last year, good camera spot. All week beginning of September2.  Stupid wolves, howled at us last year harvesting a bear.  SSS.

Well then. It sounds like a plan. That whole entire area north of your place is LEGAL for ATV use. You have to know which roads are open, I just happen to know them. You can almost make it to my house 20 miles away.

If I didn't have kids to raise I would live up there if I could!!  Bringing a few cousins, young men who never seen this country and 1 is virgin hunter!  Good times I hope.  Is there someplace in town I can get fresh drinking water?  I have a 50 gallon barrel and don't want to pack it over full.

I'll find out about the water for you. My wife said Curlew State Park ?? I know where. The sewer dump station in Republic has fresh water. I see the spigot so I'll ask if it's potable. The ATV route looks like it's at the green gate by your driveway all the way to Lundimo Meadows and down to state  highway 21 since it's under 35mph and a county road. Hot dang, I like this new law. Plus, I can show you where a buttload of timber land is too. You'll be in piggy heaven........

Can this be explained in a nutshell?
For instance, can I ride a quad on DNR roads say in Tahuya state forest?
How bout the FS roads in Little Natches, Rimrock ect?

As long as I have met the registration, inspection criteria?

I think the Tahuya area has some sort of riding trails near there.
