pic help
« on: October 21, 2008, 05:03:26 PM »
So I followed all the directions (I think) and I can't get the pic into my post.  I uploaded the pic into the gallery, hit reply, click the pic icon, paste the thingy into the place and hit post and . . . no pic.  Any help?  I must be missing something.

When you are looking at your pic in the gallery, there is a link right under it that is in between tags like this [i mg]http://link[/i mg]. Just copy and paste that right into your post.

Had to put a space in the tag so it wouldnt show up as a pic....

I know some use photobucket or the like but I just uplaod direct from my file folders. If you hit "reply" not "quick reply" you will see "additional options" under the message field. Then I hit "browse" and search through my file I have my pics in, click your pic and hit load. Its a good idea to make your pics no more than 1100x800, the dial up folks take forever to look at them.

No. I just tried it again and nothing.  I'm not sure what I am doing, or not doing.  I got the address pasted into the place.  I'll try it here as well.
nothing.  It shows up here when I'm typing (the address) but nothing when I post.

Walt use the piece of text in bright yellow. Not the link in the web browser's address bar.
