a buddy wants to kill a bear really bad. i've shot enough, so am just a second pair of eyes. thinking Kalispell peak area. anyone do any good around there? mid-september-ish. are huckleberries still on at that time?

hucks in ferry last weekend at 4,000 ft were drying up already

One of the biggest food sources now in Ferry are the Hall Berries. They will tap those heavy now until they dry up about the second week of September.
