Sun Baked Coyote (I got this one from an old-time mountain man). Shoot a coyote. Let it sit in the sun for ten days. Come back, and you'll find nothing but bones and hide as others have gobbled up the meat. Then thank your lucky stars that YOU didn't have to eat it (just teasing of course, but we all have to be able to laugh at ourselves, right?).

Lets try and keep this one civil. I myself only shoot them from Nov1-Feb 28, when there hide is good. Then give them to a friend that preps & sells the hides.
Ya think? Yeah I just went and re-read it but I refused to post there because I dare not resuscitate it.Anyone who thinks nothing should be "wasted" on a coyote has never skinned one and smelled one. What are they good for other than if they're prime (Dec and Jan) ? Nothing eats them other than mice and birds.
Never retrieve them

I was just thinking about something my Grandpa taught me. He said you should never kill anything that you wouldn't eat. Anybody have any good recipes? I'm pretty sure I have eaten dog overseas a time or two.
Quote from: Evil_EdwardO on August 22, 2013, 11:34:23 AMAnybody donate backstraps to Smossy yet? I know he's eaten some raccoon. Don't think he's scored a Yote yet. Just give him the whole Yote. He could do a BBQ Yote on a rotisserie like you would do with a whole pig.
