Hunt App
« on: August 22, 2013, 07:33:30 AM »
We are excited to announce that Hunting GPS maps has just launched our new HUNT App for iPhone and iPad with land ownership data including public lands and private land owner names.

Luckily Washington is one of the states available for the App.

Other features include topo and aerial basemaps, hunting units, mark waypoints, and the ability to cache maps for offline use.
For more info and to download the free app visit our site below or the iTunes store link.  State subscriptions are available through iTunes for $35 dollars or through our website for $30 dollars.

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/hunt-app-public-private-land/id672902340?ls=1&mt=8

We are currently working on the Android platform but don't have a launch date yet.

So it's $30 or $35 a year depending on where you buy it?

Yes that is correct, Apple takes a portion of sales through iTunes but we have developed a system for orders through our website at a cheaper price.

At this time just yearly subscriptions.  We do have a 7 free trial to test out the subscription features though.

Just downloaded this app. It could have been a useful app but inability to zoom in on the maps makes this app useless.  My other gps maps zoom to within 200 feet. This one is about a half mile. Useless for blood trails, trail cams, or any other waypoint.  You could be 1/2 mile away from your waypoint but it looks as though you're right on top of it on the map. Sorry but don't buy this app. I want a refund. Had I known this I would never have purchased. According to this GPS app it could show you in one GMU but really you're in another if your anywhere close to the border. USELESS!!!!!!

I'm not experiencing this at all.
I'm zoomed in to 223.1' per the screenshot and its got me almost exactly where I'm sitting inside the building.

P.S. This is working off of the free 7 day trial.

I haven't purchased the app yet, although I think I will.

Grizzlyadams,

We have a 100% money back guarantee just give us a call for a refund.  None of us here at the office or any other customer seems to be having these problems with zooming in.  We appreciate the feedback but always hope that customers will contact us with any problems before giving up on a product and giving bad feedback.  Usually the solution is very simple.

Cheers,
Matt

Try the World Topo ESRI Basemap it seems to be the clearest when we zoom all the way in.
