phool, would you send YOUR attractive young daughter off to hunt with some rando dude from an anonymous forum?!   :bdid: :dunno: :chuckle:
She had a cameraman with her. ;)

I assumed Phool was talking about  the Teegansdad hunt.

:fire.:

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Teegansdad was in the blinds with her at all times besides she made the comment to me " dad, don't leave me alone with that guy, he creeps me out! My reply: why does he creep u out? Her reply : because grown men armor suppose to look at  15 year old girls that way, it makes uncomfortable.

this thread just took a turn in a new direction...

Wait one minute yes she was skeeved out by the guide! I am not saying he was aqua lungin my daughter. Just to make that perfectly clear! And he only sat in the blind two outa 5 days cause she was getting discouraged not seeing ANY animals. I believe that Shane offers a unique hunt for those who cannot hunt elk on the elks terms ( in the elks backyard ) and even then it's not a guarantee I bought Shane's silver toung hook line and sinker, even when I knew he was lowing to me I was hoping there was some truth in what he was saying.

Is hunting ever a guarantee? I've heard of outfitters that actually offer guarantees, and it sounds like they amount to a canned hunt.
It's called hunting, not going to the grocery store.
I have no reason to defend this guide, but I realize when you are in the field anything can happen. With the way the weather has been, elk activity is down to zilch in many areas. It happens. Now if it's a pattern...different story. My  :twocents:

Well, that's why I see no percentage in paying someone to guide me to hunt properties that are just down the street from my house, which is far from the edge of the wilderness.
