All deer are beautiful ...but a blacktail is in a class all by itself ...I love seeing that grey ghost face ...you just do not see it much but when you do there is nothing that takes its place !! :tup:

Maybe it's just the angle of the picture, but that thing looks like a TANK!  Any idea how much he weighed?

He was a tank for sure, 238 hanging at butcher without hide legs and guts. We figured well into the 300 pound range on the hoof.

Compared to the Tripod area this year is what I mean. Cle Elum produces giant bucks like the Tripod as well!
