Well looks like I'll be goin solo for elk this year .....my huntin partner finally got called into work after a year off and this job is going to last until just after season....its good for him he's working but sucks he's missin elk season...oh well good luck to everyone this week ....lookin forward to seeing everyone's bull pics :tup:

I'm also back to work for you guessed it...till just after archery elk season. Glad I didn't buy my tags yet or spend money on arrows/broad heads for my recurve  :chuckle:
Probably gonna try muzzy season instead  :dunno:

Heading out tomorrow for 5 or 6 days of solo elk hunting. :)
Looks like a good time to get caught up on a couple books I haven't finished yet.

And it just got worse....found out today i have to work one of the few days I thought I had to get out and yesterday weyco decided to red dot the only spot I was able to get out and scout  :bash: I'm contemplating just skipping elk season as much as I don't want to  :bash:

I am in the same boat ..Last couple years I have gotten my elk tag and have not went  :bash: Just donating money to the Dept . and they do not even appreciate it  :chuckle: Hopefully I will get a day or 2 in before its over or just wait until late season .
