Rotten Chum
« on: October 01, 2013, 01:42:45 PM »
Went out with John this past weekend with my dad and brother (who has never fished before) and had our limits on coho in about 3 hours.

John was great and, as most of you already have, I highly recommend him.

The downside is now I want a boat more than I did before. Sigh, first world problems :'(

John is great....he used to live about 100 yards away from me. Good times with that guy.

Guessing you were out on Saturday sometime since the river went out that night. We were below him a little ways in the morning. Saw the net fly a few times. We were pretty busy with our own fish most of the time. We caught and released and long line released several before limiting out.

Great guy, great guide, and an excellent teacher. I know the kids are missing him in PE class this year. May have to book a trip with him one of these days.

Yeah we hit it just right, if we had booked the afternoon we'd have been SOL

John and I grew up playing baseball together, were college roomies and have fished together since we were 14-15.  If you can find someone who is more excited about fishing than John then that person needs to seek professional help.  Fish with John and I'll guarantee you won't go home complaining he didn't work hard for you. Oh yeah, he knows his stuff too
