Soo...what does it say about me that I like this bull better than the 400+ Rockies?

That is probably the nicest bull Ive ever seen. Id rather take that bull than these 500+  inch world record (high fense) bulls.

THAT IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE ELK IVE EVER SEEN!

That elk is incredibly beautiful.  I wouldn't pass on any 400 inch Rockies, but that thing is one HELL of a trophy.

Now that is a bull of a lifetime

Even people who see big bulls all the time would drop a jaw at seeing a bull the beautiful.

Congrats to your friend, he's one lucky hunter!

I dont have the complete storey yet because Derrick is back in camp but he shot it in B.C.  He lives in Vancouver. It was originally an american who had the hunt booked and dropped out.  Derrick traded the outfitter some timber for the hunt and he ends up getting this bull. I think a rosie like this matches any 370-400 Rocky.  He is going to mount it from what my father in law said.  Also i guess it was a long shot. Another note some might wonder about is the season it was killed, Derrick is not native so he was hunting during a regular season :)

Make sure you reference him this post at least because I see some die hard elk hunters on here and we are in awe of such a beautiful creature.  He should at least know there are some seriously envious but happy folks on here.
