New to WA
« on: October 29, 2008, 07:19:21 PM »
Moved to WA three years ago due to job transfer. Live near Ellensburg. Wondering if anyone on Eastside would be willing to share info on duck hunting. Former military and now in law enforcement  ( 16 years) and have hunted bow, rifle, shotgun for over 30 years. Willing to share a place for quail and chukar. Have access to private land. Thanks in advance. Have a dog and a boat

Welcome ribka :hello: Lots of good people on here to get hooked up, you wont have a problem. Bone lives just down the canyon from you, I know he is always out in the field, you might send him a PM

Ribka,

I'm out of state until Mid-December, but I'd be glad to take you out a couple of times so that you can get a taste for what Central WA has to offer.  I live in Cashmere - when I'm not trapped in CA.

Hi
Thanks for the offer. Feel free to contact when you return in December. I have found a few spots on the Columbia. Do you know how hunting is by Crescent Bar on the Columbia for ducks?
