Offer up an opportunity to a youth hunter that is just starting out or never harvested anything, maybe an elderly or disabled hunter if the area is relatively accessible for them.Lots of ways to change someone's luck, start them off or just give them one more or one last chance...Just a thought to consider.
personally I would not. But Its up to you

Great and honorable thought..........
Personally I'd have a hard time shooting a yard deer. Wouldn't even consider it a hunt really, more of just a bland kill. I guess if you have trouble getting it done during the season and decide you want to just fill the freezer you'd always have the option in your back pocket.

I'm gonna leave them alone-I don't need the meat and I've shot many, many deer in my life. I'd let a youth take one, but I don't think it's the proper way to introduce someone to deer hunting. Think I'll just go down Saturday morning and try to get a couple of pictures. (Im better with a rifle than a camera though) Interesting responses-thanks.
I understand your dilemma. Here's what I suggest. Go to Fred Meyer or another department store. Find the Men's clothing section. Find some man pants and put them on. Then go shoot one of the deer. No need to thank me. I'm here as a free service to our waffling and wavering members!
