I shoot a 7 MM winchester short mag black shadow also have the matching 12 gauge black shadow shot gun for bird hunting both are great guns

winchester m70 featherweight 7mm-08...at least that's what i'd use if i still hunted modern rifle.

maybe someday again if i ever decide to fork out for a multi season tag, or god forbid waste my money putting in for a rifle draw tag...

for now i pack around the 50 cal knight bighorn

This is my Deer rifle... Rem. 700 XCR in 7mm Ultra Mag. 150 grain Swift Siroccos. I hope to put it to use the last week of October in some Idaho backcountry.

My island "rifle" is a Benelli Nova 12 guage with a Badger slug barrel and a Weaver 3x9. My other deer rifle is a Ruger stainless boat paddle M77 in .270 with a Vari-x II 3x9. Both do the trick in the right place.

Only rifle I own.  Savage Stevens with a Rifle Basix trigger and Redfield scope chambered in .308 or .243 depending on which kid is shooting it.
