I have a 20 pound Maine Coon cat that chases raccoons up trees like a hound dog.  One night he treed 5 coons in the oak outside our bedroom window.  He sat at the bottom of the tree howling.  I ran out, saw what was going on and made it rain coons with my .410!     Damn good cat!

Yes.     My Maine Coon is a killing/treeing machine and he is pushing 14 years old.  He also corners possums, kills moles, squirrels, rats, etc.  Luckily my chickens have been left alone by the coons.  My cat chases them away before they get the urge to dig under the fence.
