First Wa bear down= Pumped
« on: October 14, 2013, 11:06:20 PM »
Saw this guy in a clear cut at about 300 yds. Was able to stalk him within 20 yds. As I was stalking I snapped a twig( of course)  and he bolted a few yards and jumped up on a log and was looking for what startled him. He quickly spotted me but it was too late... I was already at full draw and let Magnus Stinger 125 eat. Smoked him right behind the shoulder and he ran 33yds and was done. It was awesome and a hunt I will remember for eternity. Just wanted to share with you guys.

Well it's my second bear. I also killed one while still living in Ga with my bow but I was hog hunting out of a stand so it wasn't near as exciting as stalking this guy. First bear also only weighed around 130 lbs. this guy came in right at 236lb.

That's a nice Bear!   Wish they allowed Bear hunting in GA when I was living down there.
