Nope I've never hunted private land. I did my homework and got lucky. We got in to a group of three bulls, my buddy and I both harvested 6x6s and the 5x5 ran off.

We got them 2010 during the modern season. Big D I'm not sure what your asking sorry.

Here are some goldendale elk. This year was one of my best seasons.



This makes it sound like you got these elk this year. Just trying to help the OP out so he has an idea where to go... You are a very successful hunter to take those nice elk in this area, congrats to you. I had many nice animals on cam but my area got shut down this early archery season due to fire restriction, it sucked. Will you be hunting rifle here again this year?

Sounds about right, we had that group on our cams until about then, last couple years just the 1 & this year none...I've heard they move around with the loggers & usually stay up high til the snow pushes them down...
