What are you doing don't tell people where you hunt you are going to ruin the area forever. Don't you know anything.

For me telling the unit name isn't a big deal but for those who hunt there like me And others can tell exactly where you Are at your back drop tells everything think about that when you take A pic

Sheet that's funny. I meant just looking at the the whats in the background I can tell what road he's on just put the trees in the background is all just trying to help the young very happy hunter
Because I'm sure he wouldn't like to show up to his spot next year and there is a parking lot there

Congrats on the buck! Don't worry about the people that are flaming you for posting the unit.

Klickitat County is a very well known county for deer hunting, it is not a big secret. I have seen it in almost every hunting magazine and in the internet/news.

Congrats again!

:bash: and thats the reason we have so many hunters/road hunters/poachers!!! yep thanks alot  :bash:

Actually the reason for so many road hunters is due to the lock down of thousands of acres of private timberlands, due mainly to the trash dumping, timber theiving, drug using, we have been here forever and can do what the ;&@$/ we want locals.
Thats really the reason, has nothing to do with west siders, its a local issue, always has been.

Wrong again. Timber grounds were closed because we had a big fire this year. Also the timber company ground was open during modern firearm. check the facts. I really love how everyone from out of town tries to tell us what  "THE REAL PROBLEM IS". As if they see it year round or something. Seems like the Washington way though.

Okay big beam hunter. I would love for you to PM me and tell me exactly where I'm at based on the trees in the background. If you can do it I will gladly post and sing your praises. Good luck! :yike:

Hey Mess, I do have the facts, I am not referring to Timber Co. Lands from this year or last year or even 10 years ago, I am going back before you were probably old enough to hunt! I have been hunting that county off and on since 1978, and yes the amount of open access ground is and has been vastly reduced! It was not the west side guys that created the issues that got this land closed, it was the local issues. It's the same over here pal, you I am sure are not the one that takes a whole load of roofing shingles and dumps them at the entrance of a local Weyerhaeuser logging road, it's always a local issue.
The areas we used to camp and hunt in are no longer open access, you have to hike miles to access those once great spots. So over the past 20 years the hunting pressure may be increasing and roads are probably over travelled, but like anything else scouting seems to be the real key to success not worrying about some pic on the internet.

Man ... a guy posts a picture and Holy sheet  everyone is just bashing each other  :o :bdid: I do notice on a lot of threads how the eastsiders like to blame things on the wetsiders .....I know 1st hand what it is like to loose your hunting spot ...but you know what ??? just go find another one ...we all like to hunt just as much as the other guy ...When I read crap like this it seems some think they are the only ones who should be hunting  :dunno: This state makes people do things they do ...every year we get restricted more and more !

Point in case, myself.  I had an any bull tag for Peaches two years ago, an area that I had been hunting the last 15 years.  I had never had a bull tag before and was going to do everything in my power to fill it including using the internet.  That is how I came across this site and have enjoyed it ever since.  I learned a lot (and keep on learning) and met a lot of great people.  Any way this site didn't replace a dozen scouting trips or setting up trail cams etc. but it sure gave me a lot of great ideas for filling my tag.
