Salmon river Kings, still waiting in the lower Queets.

Some big pigs this weekend. These 3 we kept, released 5 or 6 more. And kept 18 big brite Silvers too. What a weekend. Dont post much for pics, but these were exceptional.
This is an anual trip for my good friend from Scotland.

Very nice. Glad to see someone is actually getting fish off the Queets system. Ive been waiting for fish to start going up the Clearwater but this has been one of the driest Octobers that I can think of and the river is way too low. Forecast says probably November before we any rain too.

Headed back today for more action! With no rain the driftnetting will start soon for the eggtake. I know the Hoh tribe has started. This will clear the way for some Steelies!
