Late youth hunt in 1080
« on: October 22, 2013, 11:49:07 AM »
Need a little help this is my 9yr old's first year. He shot all summer so he wouldn't miss. On the Friday before opening day i end up with the flu. I took him on Saturday but only lasted a 3little hours. We got out on Sunday but no luck. We're going to 124 on Thursday and Friday never hunted that unit so it will probably just be bonding time. I feel like sh*t he was so pump. I not asking for your spots just some public land we could get out and hike.
Thanks. John

John,
How about a little info/intro of yourself? Is your son willing to shoot a doe?

I'm 33 wife with 3 kids I've been hunting since i was 17 my biggest deer was a 6x6 in Montana no big elk yet just spikes. He didn't want to he said he was going to wait tell the last day. I think he'll pull the trigger on the first doe he sees.
