Went out this morning with a buddy of mine who has not shot a dog yet. On the way in to our first stand we see 4 and one that stays long enough for a shot! I tell him right there! Shoot! And bang, the dogs runs! *censored*! O well it happens, I know I have done the same. So we head off to do a stand in a different location and nothing. Second stand about 10 minutes in we have this beauty come in about 40 yards out!! This is the nicest dog I have seen this year.  Another for team maybe next time.

Went out this morning and did a few stands--nothing came in.  Saw fresh tracks, so I thought I'd see some, but no luck.  Thought I heard an answer to my howler but it was a long ways away.  Bearhunter 99 is coming to Wenatchee tomorrow.  That might make the worm turn....
