Oct 1st buck
« on: October 24, 2013, 11:05:51 PM »
Hunted with boom whop , had a great time hunting . Him and I had great team work on this buck. He worked from the bottom of a canyon to slowly push this buck and a smaller three point with it, up my way . I was able to make a 300 yard crawl across a dirt field to get within 120-140 yards . No field pics forgot the camera .

Buck was heavy as hell!!! Dragging him was a task.  Scott made a great stalk it took us 3 hours to put the pinch on this buck.   All I could see of him was a lump of black slowly making it's way down accross a plowed field.  He only had dirt clods to hide behind.  It was so cool when he touched it off, two feet of flame and 10 feet of smoke.  I wish I had that on camara, the white smoke and flame showed up perfect against the black plowed field.  Great job Scott A!!!!   Come on late season I need a big one to keep up!   :mgun:
