Good luck, I'll be back up there as well.  Just on the other side of the border.  All of our hard work and determination is bound to pay off.

I sent you a PM as well.

You should be seeing plenty now that the leaves are falling and trees thinning, good luck.

:yeah:  it will only get better.   We saw 7  or 8  bulls up there last year during the late muzzy whitetail hunt last year in less than a square mile area.

Saw a few cows and passed on a couple small bulls!  I know any bull is a good bull but I have a minimum in mind and I'm sticking to it.  If someone wants to shoot a small bull that is their decision and if it makes them happy that is great.  As for me I have taken and guided lots of animals so I have a certain size in mind for my once in a lifetime hunt and if it doesn't happen I'll go home knowing I tried my best.  On that note I would hate to be a cow or calf next to the road on the last day!!lol!

I had a buddy helping a friend out in 113 this years they hunted 12 days....Never saw a mature bull and an alarming observation is they never saw a calf during the whole hunt and heard wolves everyday!! He ended up shooting a smallish bull.

It wont be long before we see tag reductions :bash:

The first week I only saw one cow and had encounters with numerous bulls.  The problem is I would get them in close and it was so thick I couldn't see them.  The next few trips I saw nothing but cows and calves pairs (20 or so pairs)until this last trip I saw a couple bulls. Prob. Because leaves are starting to disappear!  Saw lots of fresh sign in most places I've been!  Frustrating knowing they are close but you just can't see em'!

Keep at it and you'll get it done.  It only takes one big one to show himself.  Good luck.
