THen yesterdays count.   The storm came which explains the fury of activity the night before.   I was deadset at trying to get that big guy on film.   I saw him, but the doe he was with was scared to death of me for some reason.  She ran off.  I finally just gave up.  If he doesn't get shot, maybe I will see him again.   I ran into another buck I was after, and that doe was also "trying to save" his life.   They were all a little bit hyped up.   I letft them alone and came back right before dark, he gave me the slip.   I must have walked right by him.   I went out and came back and when I came back he was further up the hill with the does that I walked by.  :dunno:  And no, I didn't count him twice :chuckle:

I'll get some pics up soon.   The * denotes a mature buck.  Most of the 4x4s I have been seeing are 3.5 year old bucks.  Somewhere in the 4.5 to 5.5 year range they get a *.   The first migrators showed up on the 4th. including the legend.  He was 10 feet from where I saw him last year.

Yes.   that's him.  He is denoted on the list as the mature 2x2 with eyeguards.  I don't count eyeguards, but noted them on him as a point that eventhough he is a two, hes legal.

and then there is this little guy....

This young buck has the potential to be a nice buck. Do you figure he is 2.5? He is pretty short and has a young looking face.
Wishing I was fishing...or in Wyoming
