I saw him, but the doe he was with was scared to death of me for some reason. She ran off. I finally just gave up. If he doesn't get shot, maybe I will see him again. I ran into another buck I was after, and that doe was also "trying to save" his life. They were all a little bit hyped up. I letft them alone and came back right before dark, he gave me the slip. I must have walked right by him. I went out and came back and when I came back he was further up the hill with the does that I walked by.
